The South Fremont Cougars will look to defend their home court against the Teton Timberwolves at 7:30 p.m. South Fremont is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
South Fremont suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 75-43 loss at the hands of Marsh Valley.
South Fremont's loss came about despite a quality game from Skyler Forbush, who scored 14 points. Tyce Poulsen was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Teton posted their closest win yet this season on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Jackson Hole and snuck past 61-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
South Fremont has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Teton, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.
South Fremont took a serious blow against Teton when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 69-37. Can South Fremont avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
