It's playoff time, and Providence Catholic had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Prairie Ridge Wolves 2-1. This was payback for the Celtics, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Providence Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maddie Johnson led the charge by getting eight digs and five aces. That's the most aces Johnson has posted since back in September.

Providence Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-7 record this season. As for Prairie Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 32-9.
