Volleyball Game Preview: Darlington Falcons vs. Wilson Tigers

Darlington is 0-10 against Wilson since October of 2020 but things could change on Thursday. The Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Darlington took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Crestwood with a sharp 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Wilson waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Bruins.

Wilson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 21-25, 26-24, 25-22, 15-9.

Wilson found their leader in sophomore Madison Moses, who had 15 digs. Caitlyn Quick also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Darlington's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Wilson, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.
