Volleyball Recap: Clinton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Clinton Christian Academy was the 2-0 winner over Varsity Opponent when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of Varsity Opponent by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Robey Kisner paced Clinton Christian Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Kisner got some help from Allie Thornton and her eight assists. Thornton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Clinton Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6-1.

Clinton Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Knoxville Christian on the 18th.
