Bryan County has no trouble against Claxton

The Bryan County Redskins entered their tilt with the Claxton Tigers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Bryan County was the clear victor by a 55-35 margin over Claxton. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Bryan County has managed all season.
Bryan County's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elijah Mincey, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Beck, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Bryan County's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Claxton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Bryan County will be home for the holidays to greet Portal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Portal knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Bryan County likes a good challenge. As for Claxton, they will head out on the road to face off against Montgomery County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
