Basketball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Anderson lost against Gridley back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cubs lost 72-49 to the Bulldogs.

Despite the loss, Anderson still got an impressive performance from Ethan Safford, who posted 14 points in addition to seven assists and six boards. Another player making a difference was Elias Whitehead, who had nine points.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Gridley, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Anderson won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mt. Shasta at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gridley, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Paradise at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
