Volleyball Recap: Ridgeview's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over + How To Watch

After flying high against Menendez last Thursday, Ridgeview came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Oakleaf Knights on Thursday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 25-19.

Colette Jones paced Ridgeview's offense, picking up five kills. Jones got some help from Payton Cannon and her seven assists. Emily McCrea controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

With the loss, Ridgeview broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 14-6. As for Oakleaf, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Ridgeview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against ED White on the 13th. As for Oakleaf, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Tocoi Creek on the 13th.
