Soccer Game Preview: Kalani vs. Castle

Kalani is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Thursday. They will face off against the Castle Knights at 7:00 p.m. Kalani's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Castle's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Kalani's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Sunday. They came out on top against Kapa'a by a score of 2-0. Give Kalani's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Davian-Fox McElfresh and Arawi De La Cuba scored both of Kalani's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Castle made sure to put some goals up on the board against Damien on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Monarchs with a sharp 7-0 win. That seven goal margin sets a new team best for Castle this season.

Kalani's record is now 6-0. As for Castle, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
