Basketball Game Preview: Collierville Dragons vs. Columbus Falcons

The Collierville Dragons will face off against the Columbus Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Collierville has three straight victories, Columbus has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Thursday, Collierville got the win against University by a conclusive 71-50. Fans of the Dragons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Collierville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amyah Palmer, who posted ten points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Fran Kelly, who went 5-for-11 on her way to 12 points.

Meanwhile, Columbus suffered their closest loss since December 30, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of Walnut by a score of 55-52.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Collierville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
