Basketball Recap: Lake Houston HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Lake Houston HomeSchool was the 54-38 winner over Aggieland HomeSchool when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Lake Houston HomeSchool Conquerors fell 64-52 to the Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Conquerors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 736th, while the Panthers are ranked 366th).

Aggieland HomeSchool's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Cox, who went 7 of 13 en route to 18 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Micah Krajca, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Lake Houston HomeSchool has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Houston HomeSchool the next time they take the court. Aggieland HomeSchool will head out to face Houston HomeSchool at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, while Lake Houston HomeSchool will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
