Baseball Recap: West Deptford Takes a Loss

West Deptford suffered their biggest loss since May 15, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Decatur Seahawks, falling 16-4. The Eagles have struggled against the Seahawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Jason Hartman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

West Deptford suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 4-3. As for Decatur, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Looking ahead, West Deptford will take on Annapolis at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Decatur, they will face off against Parkside at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
