Basketball Game Preview: Lennard Longhorns vs. Middleton Tigers

The Lennard Longhorns and the Middleton Tigers will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Lennard was beaten by Plant City 84-51. The defeat continues a trend for the Longhorns in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Middleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Tampa Bay Tech and fell 76-42.

Lennard will have to contain Darrion Marchman as he made an impact in Middleton's last game. He posted 14 points. Tamarus Johnson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Middleton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Lennard, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Lennard was dealt a bruising 81-42 defeat at the hands of Middleton in their previous matchup back in December of 2021. Thankfully for Lennard, Asuan Maxwell (who went 9 of 17 on his way to 25 points along with five assists and four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
