Volleyball Recap: Kambri Mccabe and Charley Wilson Secure Win for Sterling City

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Miles, Sterling City was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Reagan County Owls. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Owls recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Sterling City walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 23-25, 25-16, 25-20.

Sterling City was led to victory by Charley Wilson and Kambri McCabe. Wilson had 16 kills, seven digs, and three aces, while McCabe had 24 digs and eight kills. What's more, Wilson racked up 17 assists, the most she's had since September 6th. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Caldwell, who had 18 assists and 15 digs.

Sterling City's win bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Reagan County, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sterling City will welcome Forsan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Reagan County, they will take on Christoval at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Owls are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
