Football Game Preview: Sheridan Panthers vs. Lone Peak Big Horns

After each having a week off, the Sheridan Panthers and the Lone Peak Big Horns will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, Sheridan blew past Manhattan Christian, posting a 46-12 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lone Peak). They really took it to Park City for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-22 victory. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Big Horns with their most commanding win of the season.

Lone Peak's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sheridan, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-1.

Sheridan took a serious blow against Lone Peak in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, falling 48-7. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
