Frazier Mountain and California City are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2021, but not for long. The Falcons will challenge the Ravens at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Frazier Mountain was able to grind out a solid victory over Rosamond, taking the game 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 19-25, 25-11, 25-16.

Meanwhile, California City posted their closest win since September 5th on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Desert. The win continues a trend for the Ravens in their matchups with the Scorpions: they've now won four in a row.

California City had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 22-25, 25-10, 25-19, 15-12.

California City found their leader in sophomore Sophia Dominguez, who had 20 digs. Dominguez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

California City now has a winning record of 16-15-1. As for Frazier Mountain, their record is now 12-10.

Everything went Frazier Mountain's way against California City in their previous matchup back in September, as Frazier Mountain made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
