Canton extended their road winning streak to ten games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Shamira Morton. The Tigers simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Humphreys County Cowboys 55-26 with plenty of help from Morton, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 17 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Canton's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Humphreys County, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canton will host Leake Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Humphreys County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kosciusko at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
