C.B. Aycock had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. Everything went their way against the Southern Wayne Saints as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win last Wednesday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant C.B. Aycock was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-13.

C.B. Aycock's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Jenkins, who had 17 assists and two aces. Jenkins is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played. Ella Moyer was another key player, getting 11 digs.

They weren't the only good servers: C.B. Aycock was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southern Wayne only served eight.

Despite the loss, Southern Wayne saw an underclassman step up: freshman Addison McPhail had six digs, six aces, and two blocks.

C.B. Aycock's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Southern Wayne, their defeat was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-19.

C.B. Aycock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Hunt on the 14th. Southern Wayne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
