Baseball Recap: Argenta-Oreana Comes Up Short

Argenta-Oreana managed to slip by Arcola the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bombers came up short against the Purple Riders on Tuesday, falling 11-4.

Argenta-Oreana saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Logue, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Argenta-Oreana has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-11 record this season. As for Arcola, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Looking ahead, Argenta-Oreana will venture away from home to challenge Mt. Pulaski at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Arcola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
