Football Recap: Dibble Piles Up the Points Against Coalgate

Dibble won the last time they faced Coalgate and things went their way on Friday too. The Demons breezed past the Wildcats to the tune of 41-6. The Demons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 34 points or more this season.

Tucker Skipper continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also throwing for 82 yards and one TD on only seven passes. Those 101 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Weston Greene, who rushed for 49 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Dibble was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 263 rushing yards. They are a perfect 6-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

The win made it two in a row for Dibble and bumps their season record up to 7-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-7 Coalgate and 3-5 Tishomingo. As for Coalgate, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dibble will face off against Beggs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Coalgate, they will square off against Tishomingo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
