Colette Howren turned in nothing short of a gem on Tuesday, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fifth in a row with seven or more strikeouts. On the year, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 2.70 over 57 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.439/0.521/0.732 with 16 runs.
