Volleyball Game Preview: Prestonwood Christian Lions vs. Greenhill Hornets

The Prestonwood Christian Lions will take on the Greenhill Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Prestonwood Christian is coming into the match hot, having won their last 15 games.

Prestonwood Christian had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Ursuline Academy on Tuesday. The Lions put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 3-0 win. The Lions not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 19th (when they won 3-0).

Prestonwood Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Ursuline Academy between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Greenhill made easy work of Fort Worth Country Day on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Prestonwood Christian's win bumped their record up to 28-4. As for Greenhill, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.

Prestonwood Christian took their win against Greenhill in their previous meeting back in August of 2021 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
