While Tyner Academy put up plenty of points on Saturday, the same can't be said for Brainerd. The Rams simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Panthers 40-0. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Marcus Turner threw for 109 yards and one TD on only nine passes. Jamarion Dowdell was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Tyler Anderson rushed for 49 yards.

Tyner Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Brainerd, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Tyner Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Chattanooga Central at 7:30 p.m. The Rams are facing the Pounders at the right time seeing as the Pounders are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Brainerd, they will head out to challenge Chattanooga Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
