Soccer Game Preview: Chesapeake Science Point vs. Southern + Official Tickets

Chesapeake Science Point is 0-5 against Southern since September of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. Chesapeake Science Point will host Southern at 5:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Chesapeake Science Point took a five-goal loss the last time they faced off against Old Mill, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Chesapeake Science Point never let Old Mill get on the board and left with a 1-0 win back in September.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's Canine Competition, Southern had to take the L. They fell just short of Severn Run by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Southern's goal came courtesy of Cody Douglas, which was the first he's scored this season.

Southern now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Chesapeake Science Point, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
