Softball Recap: Pillager Takes a Loss

Pillager managed to slip by Pierz the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Huskies came up short against the Pioneers on Saturday, falling 16-1. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pillager's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Pierz, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Pillager and Pierz will both be playing Blackduck the next time they take the field. The Pioneers will host the Drakes at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, while the Huskies will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
