Volleyball Game Preview: Madison Bulldogs vs. Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies

The Madison Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Madison lost 3-0 to Dell Rapids on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Quarriers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Elk Point-Jefferson was able to grind out a solid victory over Tri-Valley on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

Elk Point-Jefferson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-16.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 12-16.

Madison was able to grind out a solid victory over Elk Point-Jefferson in their previous matchup on Saturday, winning 2-0. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
