Volleyball Recap: Forest City Comes Up Short

Forest City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Blue Ridge Raiders, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Foresters of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-7, 25-11.

Forest City's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Blue Ridge, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Forest City will face off against rival Lackawanna Trail at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Blue Ridge is set to challenge their familiar foe Susquehanna at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
