Baseball Recap: Plymouth Gets the Win

Plymouth took a 14-run defeat the last time they faced off against Howell, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats never let the Highlanders get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Wildcats' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Plymouth's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Finn Stubin, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Stubin's first of the season.

Plymouth's victory bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Howell, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6.
