Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dayton). They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 58-12 victory over the Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers. Considering the Pirates have won six games by more than 26 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Dayton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ryan Mullins and Brody Douthit.

Dayton pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Blanchet Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
