Volleyball Game Preview: Eastern Comets vs. Frankton Eagles + How To Watch

The Eastern Comets will head out to square off against the Frankton Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Eastern saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Wes-Del.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Frankton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Elwood 3-0 on Thursday. The Eagles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Frankton took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-11.

Eastern's record now sits at 13-7. As for Frankton, their record is now 12-7.

Eastern took their victory against Frankton when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
