Baseball Recap: Miller Comes Up Short

Miller lost against Fairfield Christian Academy on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons lost 12-2 to the Knights.

Miller saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryley Post, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Tyler Hartley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Miller now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Miller will take on Fisher Catholic at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Irish at the right time seeing as the Irish are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Harvest Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.56 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
