Basketball Recap: Plaquemine Skates Past Baker with Ease

Plaquemine's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They claimed a resounding 48-11 victory over the Baker Buffaloes. The Green Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Buffaloes, too.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 6-8. As for Baker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plaquemine will face off against Scotlandville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Plaquemine is facing Scotlandville at the right time seeing as Scotlandville is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Baker, they will venture away from home to challenge Capitol at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
