Football Recap: Strong Performance on D from Chandler Hardman and Devon Fountain Leads Yazoo County over O'bannon

The Yazoo County Panthers beat the O'Bannon Greenwaves 17-8 on Friday.

Chandler Hardman had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 172 yards and one TD while picking up 9.6 yards per carry.

Yazoo County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hardman and Devon Fountain. Fountain also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six.

Yazoo County's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for O'Bannon, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Yazoo County and O'Bannon will both be playing Amanda Elzy the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Greenwaves will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
