Basketball Recap: Forest Area Takes a Loss

Forest Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 57-18 loss at the hands of the Mancelona Ironmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ironmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-7 back in January.

Forest Area's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Mancelona, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest Area will welcome Johannesburg-Lewiston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mancelona, they will face off against Bellaire at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
