Football Recap: East Robertson Indians vs. Liberty Creek Wolves
East Robertson took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They blew past the Liberty Creek Wolves, posting a 30-0 win at home. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Wolves are ranked 160th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
East Robertson found their leader in underclassman Kason Young, who threw for 223 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Caleb Mcneil, who rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
East Robertson will square off against Houston County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Robertson is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road dating back to last season. As for Liberty Creek, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against White House at 7:00 p.m.
