Baseball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield lost against Dunlap back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Springfield fell 5-1 to Dunlap. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Springfield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arthur Davison, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Dunlap, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Springfield will venture away from home to face off against MacArthur at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dunlap, they will host Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
