Baseball Game Preview: South Central Calhoun Mustangs vs. West Bend-Mallard Wolverines

South Central Calhoun and West Bend-Mallard are an even 5-5 against one another since June of 2018, but likely not for long. The Mustangs will host the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Central Calhoun has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, South Central Calhoun came up short against Northwest Webster and fell 13-10. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, West Bend-Mallard was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They fell 5-1 to Southeast Valley. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

South Central Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for West Bend-Mallard, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

South Central Calhoun suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to West Bend-Mallard in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
