Baseball Game Preview: Mills Vikings vs. Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS

Mills hasn't had much luck against Hillsdale recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mills Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Mills is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Sacred Heart Prep, falling 10-2.

Mills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Lafon, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Hillsdale didn't have quite enough to beat Leigh on Friday and fell 6-5.

Jacob Bonner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Parker Jessup was another, going 1-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.

Mills' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hillsdale, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Mills came up short against Hillsdale in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 8-5. Can Mills avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
