Basketball Recap: Natoma Comes Up Short

Natoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 77-38 loss at the hands of the St. John's/Tipton Catholic Blujays. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 74-24 to the Blujays when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gabe MacConnell was Natoma's leading scorer, having posted 13 points.

Natoma's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. John's/Tipton Catholic, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Natoma will take on Wakefield in a tournament on Monday. As for St. John's/Tipton Catholic, they will take on Phillipsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
