The Marbury Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the McAdory Yellowjackets at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Marbury turned things around against Bibb County on Thursday. They blew past the Choctaws 16-6. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Lexie Frost was a standout: she scored four runs while going 2-for-3. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Brooklan Popwell was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
