Softball Recap: Carrabec Comes Up Short

Carrabec was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 10-7 to the Forest Hills Tigers. The Cobras were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Amiya Tibbetts made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Kendall Scheve was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Carrabec's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Forest Hills, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carrabec will head out to take on Telstar at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Forest Hills, they will venture away from home to face off against Mount Abram at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
