Georgetown-Ridge Farm came into Monday's contest looking for another win against Hoopeston, but Maddie Barnes wouldn't allow it. Everything went the Hoopeston Cornjerkers' way against the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes on Monday as the Hoopeston Cornjerkers made off with a 56-30 win thanks to Barnes, who posted 21 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Claire Dixon was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in January.

Hoopeston is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points over those games. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.
