Syracuse posted their biggest win since February 6th on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 63-40 margin over the Las Animas Trojans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kree Wallace, who went 5 of 8 en route to 15 points along with six boards and three blocks. Wallace is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Aaron Vargas, who posted 12 points.

Syracuse now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Las Animas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Syracuse didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-27 victory against Stratton on the 14th. As for Las Animas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 73-49 loss against Greeley County on the 14th.
