Basketball Recap: Greenville H Takes a Loss

Greenville H suffered their biggest loss since November 7, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Fort Wayne HomeSchool Hawks, falling 54-31. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Hurricanes' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Despite the defeat, Greenville H saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Izzy Williams posted five points and seven boards.

Even though they lost, Greenville H smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.

Greenville H's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Fort Wayne HomeSchool, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Greenville H didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 37-34 defeat against Bluegrass United on the 21st. Fort Wayne HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
