Recap: Tome Titans vs. ASPIRA Charter Wolves
It was a good run, but the Tome Titans unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 87-70 bruising from ASPIRA Charter. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
When it comes to explaining why Tome lost, one person who can't be blamed is Herold Beljour Jr.. Despite the final result, he scored 36 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The match was Beljour Jr.'s fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Spencer Cain, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Tome's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for ASPIRA Charter, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Tome will head out on the road to face off against Fellowship of Christian Athletes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for ASPIRA Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Covenant Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
