It was a good run, but Bellmont unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans by a score of 2-1. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
MaryKate Scheumann paced Bellmont's offense, picking up 22 kills. Scheumann got some help from Lilly Selking and her 23 assists. Taylor Sutter controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Among those leading the charge was Gracie Lammers, who had 15 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.
Bellmont's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Ottawa-Glandorf, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
