Football Recap: Inman's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

After losing to Moundridge the last time they met, Inman decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Inman Teutons strolled past the Wildcats with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 22-7. The 22-point effort marked the Inman Teutons' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Malachi Brunk had a dynamite game, rushing for 129 yards and a pair of TDs, while also throwing for 131 yards and one touchdown while completing 88.9% of his passes. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Inman proved: they limited Moundridge to a paltry 2.3 yards per carry. The Inman Teutons' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 3.7.

The victory (which was Inman's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Moundridge, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

As of now, neither Inman nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
