Football Game Preview: Buena Vista Bison vs. South Sioux City Cardinals

The Buena Vista Bison will take on the South Sioux City Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.

Buena Vista played against Lincoln Southwest on Thursday and lost via forfeit.

South Sioux City is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were outmatched by Lincoln Northeast and fell 63-21. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Despite the defeat, South Sioux City saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brady Daugherty threw for 174 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes.
