Basketball Recap: Cleat Zike Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Kiowa

After losing to Kiowa the last time they met, Tushka decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers came out on top against the Cowboys by a score of 68-57 on Thursday.

Tushka's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cleat Zike, who went 6-for-11 en route to 15 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Those five steals gave Zike a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Willis, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 boards.

Tushka's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Kiowa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Tushka and Kiowa will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Tigers see the court they'll take on Tishomingo at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Kiowa, their break will end when they face Rock Creek at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
