Football Recap: Jefferson-Morgan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Jefferson-Morgan managed to slip by California the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rockets came up short against the Trojans on Friday, falling 36-14. That makes it the first time this season the Rockets have let down their home crowd.

Although Jefferson-Morgan took the loss, they still got scores from John Woodward and Deakyn Dehoet.

Malachi Peak produced another solid performance rushing for 283 yards and four scores while picking up 8.8 yards per carry for California. Those 283 rushing yards gave Peak a new career-high.

Jefferson-Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for California, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Jefferson-Morgan has already played their next matchup, a 35-0 defeat against Laurel on the 31st. As for California, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 27-12 loss against Frazier on the 31st.
