Basketball Recap: Southeastern Local Falls to Graham Local in First Game of Season

Southeastern Local unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 53-44 to the Graham Local Falcons on Friday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Graham Local's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dakota Frasure, who shot 50% from the field on her way to 12 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley McAlexander, who posted 13 points and six rebounds.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeastern Local will host Greenon at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Graham Local, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Centerville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
